São Paulo, May 23, 2022 – V.tal, the first end-to-end neutral network company in the Brazilian market and owner of the largest fiber optic infrastructure in the country, reached, last April, more than 16 million homes passed with fiber optic internet availability for contracting in 231 municipalities spread across the 27 states of the country. The company has been accelerating the deployment of fiber optic internet at a rate of 400,000 homes passed per month, a pace of growth that has the prospect of doubling the current FTTH (Fiber To The Home) coverage to 32 million homes passed by 2025. V.tal is the only neutral network company that owns homes passed in every state in the country.

Since its creation in August 2021, V.tal, which should have its transfer of control to BTG Pactual’s investment funds soon, has already gained more than 20 new FTTH contracts with regional providers and with the first 100% digital operator emerged in Brazil – OBVIOUS, formed by foreign funds and which will use V.tal’s neutral network, initially in more than 20 municipalities in the south, southeast and midwest to expand the offer of ultra-speed internet to consumers.
