A pioneer in the end-to-end FTTH network rental model, the company has about 400 thousand kilometers of fiber throughout Brazil and can connect 85% of all addresses in the capital with high-quality internet

São Paulo, March 7, 2022 – V.tal, a pioneer in the Brazilian market for neutral fiber optic network for internet providers and telephone operators, will be in Porto Velho to present its neutral network solutions in the northern region, at the first face-to-face event for regional internet providers in the state. The company will be present at the 1st ISP Brazil Expo in Porto Velho, which will take place on 03/10/2022, from 8am to 6pm, at the Golden Plaza Hotel.

V.tal will present to the providers participating in the event its neutral end-to-end FTTH (Fiber to the home) network service, that is, fiber to the customer’s home, operating from the international exit to the national backbone, through the backhaul, all electronics, to the installation of the equipment inside the final consumer’s home. The company already has more than 175,000 “homes passed” with fiber optic internet, which represents 85% of the addresses of the entire capital of Rondônia, which are available to be connected by providers or internet operators that choose to offer high-speed broadband to end users through a neutral network.

“We made a point of participating in this event to show the advantages of a neutral network for providers in the region, who can use the same infrastructure as the main operators in the country and compete with better conditions, because they direct their financial resources to serve customers and develop value-added services. Without having to invest in the construction and maintenance of the network, providers can quickly accelerate the expansion into new markets and focus on the quality of the services offered,” explains Rafael Marquez, Marketing Director at V.tal.

In February 2022, V.tal reached the mark of 15 million “homes passed” with fiber optic internet available for contracting throughout the country and launched Portal DEV. (https://developers.vtal.com.br/) so that the providers themselves adopt the procedures to integrate into the company’s neutral network and manage their applications, which speeds up processes and reduces costs, because it works as a self-service.

5G

More than allowing the expansion of the population’s access to fixed broadband internet, V.tal’s neutral fiber optic cable network will also be strategic for the deployment of 5G technology, which will revolutionize various sectors of the economy such as industry, agribusiness, health, among others.

This is because 5G antennas will need to be connected with fiber optic infrastructure, to support the high volume of data that will travel through mobile phones or equipment connected by IoT (internet of things).
