Sharing the company’s fiber optic network, which is the largest in the country, eliminates the need for providers to invest in infrastructure, favoring expansion into new markets or the emergence of new companies;

The company has more than 17 million homes passed with internet available for contracting by providers across the country. In Pernambuco alone, there are about 500,000 homes passed

Recife, September 21, 2021 – V.tal, a digital infrastructure company and holder of the largest neutral fiber optic network in the country, will be in Recife participating in the INOVAtic Northeast 2022 event, to present its portfolio of broadband and wholesale products and services available in the region and throughout the country to providers and operators participating in the event, which takes place between the 21st, 22nd and 23rd, at MV Empresarial, in Recife.

The event gathers from important players in the market, such as regional providers and internet operators, to public policy makers on innovation from all over the Northeast, to whom V.tal will present the advantages of its neutral fiber optic network model that are helping the expansion of broadband services, connecting even more addresses with a very high quality internet, without the need to build and maintain their own network, by renting its complete FTTH (Fiber To The Home) solution.

“Increasing the supply of high-speed internet, and especially in cities farther from major centers, is a challenge that V.tal’s fiber optic infrastructure sharing model can help. Providers and operators when contracting our FTTH solution do not need to invest in building their own network of cables and equipment, which reduces the cost of expansion and speeds up entry into new markets. They can focus 100% on offering the services and quality service that today is so important for telecom consumers”, explains Rafael Marquez, Marketing Director at V.tal.

V.tal’s FTTH network in Pernambuco is present in Recife and 7 other cities (Olinda, Paulista, Caruaru, Petrolina, Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Goiana and Cabo de Santo Agostinho), in which about 500 thousand addresses already have internet available for contracting by internet providers and telecom operators. V.tal is the company that has the most fiber optic addresses available for contracting throughout the country, with more than 17 million homes passed, distributed throughout all regions. The company’s strategy is to reach 34 million homes passed by 2025 with an investment plan of R$30 billion already underway.

Connectivity Solutions for Wholesale

The company will also introduce telecom players to services such as IP Connect, dedicated internet access, ensuring a better experience in transporting data to the internet, whether to support end-customer applications such as online gaming, streaming or the use of other technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and IoT. In the state of Pernambuco alone, V.tal has more than 206 Gbps of capacity in delivery readiness (up to 60 days) for providers. Throughout Brazil, there are 2.7 Tbps of capacity available for immediate commercialization.

V.tal also has a strategic role for the viability of 5G technology, which is accompanied by a high demand for high-speed data volume that, in turn, requires the support of a robust fiber optic network to sustain all this traffic. And V.tal, as the holder of the largest telecom infrastructure in the country with about 430,000 km of network, brings fiber connectivity to mobile phone towers, contributing to the future of connectivity and digitization of society and companies.
