Former CEO of SoftBank Group International, Michel Combes has extensive experience in global telecommunications companies

 

São Paulo, November 7, 2022 – V.tal is pleased to announce the new member on its Board of Directors, French executive Michel Combes, former CEO of SoftBank Group International and has held positions in ministries in France, France Télécom and TéléDiffusion de France.

A graduate of École Polytechnique, Combes has extensive experience in the international telecommunications market: he served as CEO of Vodafone Europe and Alcatel-Lucent, as COO at Altice and CFO and CEO at Sprint until its merger with T-Mobile US.

Michel Combes oversaw SoftBank Group International’s operating and investment portfolios, including SoftBank LatAm Funds, until June this year. He sits on several boards of directors of SoftBank’s portfolio companies, including WeWork, Cybereason, Contentsquare, Jellysmack, Kavak, OneWeb, Sorare, Swile, TelevisaUnivision, Vestiaire Collective and now also V.tal.

The executive will join the other members of V.tal’s Board of Directors: Amos Genish, André Santos Esteves, Roberto Balls Sallouti, Renato Antonio Secondo Mazzola, André Fernandes Lopes Dias, Pedro Henrique Fragoso Pires de Azevedo Garcia, Kaue Augusto Silva, Eleazar de Carvalho Filho, Marcos Grodetzky and Rodrigo Modesto de Abreu.
